About Principal Parry
Lisa Parry is a veteran English teacher (1994-present) and TK-12 principal (2018-present). She is proud to lead a 2021 National Blue Ribbon Elementary School and a 2020 ESEA Distinguished Elementary School. In 2022, Lisa’s colleagues recognized her as South Dakota Region 1 Principal of the Year. Some of Parry’s most gratifying work includes serving as a co-developer and facilitator of the South Dakota Department of Education’s Good to Great Teacher Mentoring Program. Now in her 30th year as an educator, Lisa is a frequent keynote speaker, facilitator, trainer and coach. She has presented at TEDx, the National Blue Ribbon School Conference, the Making Schools Work Conference and the Small Schools Leaders Conference. Lisa earned a B.S.Ed. in English Education from the University of South Dakota and a M.S.Ed. in Educational Leadership from South Dakota State University.
